History and Corporate Philosophy

HANSE INDUSTRIEKAPITAL was created from a business consulting firm focusing on medium-sized companies which has developed over the course of the years into an important consulting firm for a wide array of industries. Characterized by the focus on “innovative task force management”, the fast, targeted handling and implementation of specific projects in a wide array of business segments, expertise was amassed covering the entire spectrum of companies and industries.

The founders of Hanse Industriekapital possess many years of experience as company restructuring experts in the investment business, as Managing Directors in industry, as International Sales, IT and Human Resources Managers and personally implement their own as well as the profound experience of their own specialized Consultants in the investment/restructuring business within Hanse Industriekapital.

We are characterized by and differentiate ourselves from the classical investment approaches insofar as we

  • Do not come with our own approach like many players from the investment bank/business consulting scene, but rather have personally assumed company management responsibilities as Managing Directors, Sales, IT, Commercial and Human Resources Managers at international companies and practically managed, restructured, reorganized and developed companies from a wide array of industries.

In our investments, we also personally promote the restructuring and the (international) expansion through daily, operational cooperation on-site. A handpicked Managing Director is only then deployed as the Director with sole powers of representation when “calmer waters” are reached and thereafter continuously supported upon a project-specific basis through flanking measures.

After a probationary period, Managers receive an investment in an appropriate scope in order to thus promote entrepreneurial action and responsibility.

  • We pursue a long-term investment perspective. We do not endeavor primarily to work on short-term “exit solutions”, but rather company development and the realization of complementary synergies through a buy-and-built approach.

  • We, in cooperation with a medium-sized business consulting firm under the same roof, can – as required – rely on additional capacities and specific know-how on short notice.
